Lookalikes & traps
Alchemy / digital-only lines must not be priced as paper Alchemy / Secrets. If there is no paper YSOS card, stop at identification — there is no TCGplayer comps path. Also watch foil vs nonfoil: sheen does not change which set Alchemy: Secrets of Strixhaven is.
Confirm after the icon
Confirm whether YSOS exists on paper. If the card is digital-only, identification stops there — Tappr will not invent a paper market row.
How to identify Alchemy: Secrets of Strixhaven cards
- 1
Find the expansion symbol on the type line and match it to the Alchemy: Secrets of Strixhaven icon on this page (YSOS).
- 2
Use symbol color for draft rarity on YSOS, then treat showcase/borderless as a separate finish check.
- 3
Cross-check YSOS + collector number so Alchemy / Secrets is not priced under the wrong product line.

Rarity by symbol color
Digital / Arena-adjacent product (YSOS): do not assume paper rarity-color habits map to a sellable paper printing. Confirm whether a paper card with this set code even exists before reading black/silver/gold/orange as a buylist signal.
Legend shows the modern post-Exodus palette. Pre-Exodus sets and special rarities (for example Time Spiral purple timeshifted) follow the rarity reading above — not this swatch row alone.
