Lookalikes & traps
Alchemy / digital-only lines must not be priced as paper Arena Anthology. If there is no paper AA3 card, stop at identification — there is no TCGplayer comps path. Also watch foil vs nonfoil: sheen does not change which set Arena Anthology 3 is.
Confirm after the icon
Confirm whether AA3 exists on paper. If the card is digital-only, identification stops there — Tappr will not invent a paper market row.
How to identify Arena Anthology 3 cards
- 1
Find the expansion symbol on the type line and match it to the Arena Anthology 3 icon on this page (AA3).
- 2
Read rarity from symbol color on Arena Anthology 3: black common, silver uncommon, gold rare, orange mythic — foil sheen does not change it.
- 3
Cross-check AA3 + collector number so Arena Anthology is not priced under the wrong product line.
- 4

Rarity by symbol color
Digital / Arena-adjacent product (AA3): do not assume paper rarity-color habits map to a sellable paper printing. Confirm whether a paper card with this set code even exists before reading black/silver/gold/orange as a buylist signal.
Legend shows the modern post-Exodus palette. Pre-Exodus sets and special rarities (for example Time Spiral purple timeshifted) follow the rarity reading above — not this swatch row alone.
