Common mistakes
On Khans of Tarkir Promos, the usual miss is confusing masters reprints with original printings on price. Money still clusters around Khans / Tarkir Promos; treating the whole list like one price tier is how people overpay bulk. Also: Khans of Tarkir Promos (2014, supplemental / masters) gets mixed into lots that are not the same product — match set code pktk before the art.
What to check first
First: exact set code vs original printing. On Khans / Tarkir Promos, do condition under light before grade talk. Then use the Khans of Tarkir Promos checklist for gaps — sealed is not a plan for the expensive row.
