you expect every rare in the set to hold similar resale

Common mistakes

On MTG Arena Promos, the usual miss is mixing Alchemy balance changes into paper value. Money still clusters around MTG Arena Promos; treating the whole list like one price tier is how people overpay bulk. Also: MTG Arena Promos (2018, digital / Arena-adjacent) gets mixed into lots that are not the same product — match set code pana before the art.

What to check first

First: set code carefully. On MTG Arena Promos, do condition under light before grade talk. Then use the MTG Arena Promos checklist for gaps — sealed is not a plan for the expensive row.
