Common mistakes
On Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition, the usual miss is confusing masters reprints with original printings on price. Money still clusters around Secret Lair / Ultimate Edition; treating the whole list like one price tier is how people overpay bulk. Also: Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition (2020, supplemental / masters) gets mixed into lots that are not the same product — match set code slu before the art.
What to check first
First: exact set code vs original printing. On Secret Lair / Ultimate Edition, do condition under light before grade talk. Then use the Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition checklist for gaps — sealed is not a plan for the expensive row.
