Common mistakes

On Special Guests, the usual miss is assuming every mythic in a masters set holds sealed-product heat. Money still clusters around Special Guests / Chrome Mox; treating the whole list like one price tier is how people overpay bulk. Also: Special Guests (2023, supplemental / masters) gets mixed into lots that are not the same product — match set code spg before the art.

What to check first

First: foil premium vs nonfoil. On Special Guests / Chrome Mox, do condition under light before grade talk. Then use the Special Guests checklist for gaps — sealed is not a plan for the expensive row.
