you expect every rare in the set to hold similar resale

Common mistakes

On Alchemy: Outlaws of Thunder Junction, the usual miss is mixing Alchemy balance changes into paper value. Money still clusters around Alchemy / Outlaws; treating the whole list like one price tier is how people overpay bulk. Also: Alchemy: Outlaws of Thunder Junction (2024, digital / Arena-adjacent) gets mixed into lots that are not the same product — match set code yotj before the art.

What to check first

First: set code carefully. On Alchemy / Outlaws, do condition under light before grade talk. Then use the Alchemy: Outlaws of Thunder Junction checklist for gaps — sealed is not a plan for the expensive row.
