you will not check edition/treatment and still want “NM mythic” prices
you expect every rare in the set to hold similar resale

Common mistakes

On Final Fantasy Promos, the usual miss is confusing masters reprints with original printings on price. Money still clusters around Final Fantasy Promos; treating the whole list like one price tier is how people overpay bulk. Also: Final Fantasy Promos (2025, supplemental / masters) gets mixed into lots that are not the same product — match set code pfin before the art.

What to check first

First: exact set code vs original printing. On Final Fantasy Promos, do condition under light before grade talk. Then use the Final Fantasy Promos checklist for gaps — sealed is not a plan for the expensive row.
