singles buyers focused on Convention Promos

Skip if

you will not check edition/treatment and still want “NM mythic” prices
you expect every rare in the set to hold similar resale

Common mistakes

On URL/Convention Promos, the usual miss is assuming every mythic in a masters set holds sealed-product heat. Money still clusters around Convention Promos; treating the whole list like one price tier is how people overpay bulk. Also: URL/Convention Promos (2009, supplemental / masters) gets mixed into lots that are not the same product — match set code purl before the art.

What to check first

First: foil premium vs nonfoil. On Convention Promos, do condition under light before grade talk. Then use the URL/Convention Promos checklist for gaps — sealed is not a plan for the expensive row.
