you expect every rare in the set to hold similar resale

Common mistakes

On Ultimate Box Topper, the usual miss is confusing masters reprints with original printings on price. Money still clusters around Ultimate Box Topper; treating the whole list like one price tier is how people overpay bulk. Also: Ultimate Box Topper (2018, supplemental / masters) gets mixed into lots that are not the same product — match set code puma before the art.

What to check first

First: exact set code vs original printing. On Ultimate Box Topper, do condition under light before grade talk. Then use the Ultimate Box Topper checklist for gaps — sealed is not a plan for the expensive row.
