Scan → price in one step

Scan a Magic card for 24-hour estimate

Skip manual lookups. Tappr recognizes the printing and returns a Scryfall market estimate synced about every 24 hours. That figure is not a store listing, so confirm a seller’s price before you buy or trade.

Why players use it

Why collectors want a price scanner

01

Identification without pricing is half a tool

Knowing a card’s name is not enough at a trade table. You need the current market number for that printing.

02

Aggregated market signal

Tappr surfaces a Scryfall market estimate synced about every 24 hours from TCGplayer and Cardmarket, rather than a single static guidebook value. It is not a live listing.

03

Scales from one card to a collection

Check a single pull from a pack or price an entire scanned inventory with the same workflow.

01

Price scanner vs marketplace apps

Marketplace apps optimize for buying and selling listings. A price scanner optimizes for “what is in my hand worth?” before you list. Tappr focuses on scan-and-track; when you are ready to transact, take those prices to TCGplayer, Card Kingdom, CardTrader, or your LGS.

02

Foils and special frames

Price scanners that only match oracle names miss foil and treatment premiums. Tappr’s recognition path is built to price the version you scanned.

FAQ

Common questions

01 Where do Tappr prices come from?

The estimate is Scryfall’s sync of TCGplayer market price (USD) and Cardmarket (EUR), about every 24 hours. It is not a live listing.

02 Is this the same as TCGplayer market price?

Pricing is informed by major marketplace data through Scryfall. Always confirm against the venue you will actually sell on, including fees.

03 Can I scan for price offline?

Scanning needs a connection for AI processing and the price estimate. Your saved collection can be browsed offline. The estimate syncs about every 24 hours; it is not a live listing.

04 Does it price sealed product?

Tappr is built for scanning individual Magic cards, not sealed booster boxes as a product SKU.
