you expect every rare in the set to hold similar resale

Common mistakes

On Historic Anthology 7, the usual miss is mixing Alchemy balance changes into paper value. Money still clusters around Historic Anthology; treating the whole list like one price tier is how people overpay bulk. Also: Historic Anthology 7 (2023, digital / Arena-adjacent) gets mixed into lots that are not the same product — match set code ha7 before the art.

What to check first

First: set code carefully. On Historic Anthology, do condition under light before grade talk. Then use the Historic Anthology 7 checklist for gaps — sealed is not a plan for the expensive row.
