you expect every rare in the set to hold similar resale

Common mistakes

On Eternal Masters, the usual miss is assuming every mythic in a masters set holds sealed-product heat. Money still clusters around Eternal Masters / Chrome Mox; treating the whole list like one price tier is how people overpay bulk. Also: Eternal Masters (2016, supplemental / masters) gets mixed into lots that are not the same product — match set code ema before the art.

What to check first

First: foil premium vs nonfoil. On Eternal Masters / Chrome Mox, do condition under light before grade talk. Then use the Eternal Masters checklist for gaps — sealed is not a plan for the expensive row.
